Writing more scenes off of the browser. Not sure what it is, but I haven't been able to concentrate while writing in this particular box.
I will have to go back through and correct any discrepancies, but I've been using these translations as a rough guide for honorifics:
Mr. : -san (addressee is of equal or inferior rank)
Lord : -sama (addressee is of greater rank)
Sir : -dono (addressee is of equal or lesser and 'respectable' rank overall. Nobuhisa uses 'Sir' liberally for a lord, especially in the presence of his own men. Jiemon does not use it at all (except to refer to Nobuhisa) to start with, though once you lock onto his track he begins to loosen up in front of his men.)
Master: -hoshi (addressee is a Valandist monk)
I've avoided using -kun so far, though I wonder if using something archaic or foreign like Messieur/Mssr. would be good.
