Meet Ruka!

Wakasa Ruka (和家佐 瑠加) is pretty excited for her first high school trip. She's starting to become something of a Claimant War buff, though she doesn't talk about it in front of her friends too often. Her father used to take her around to some of the castles and battlefield parks back when they were living further north, but after he transferred to Kouyama for business she hadn't had much of a chance to see more of the sites. Now she's got her first ever chance to see the history made by the heroes and villains at the restored Kinomiya Castle site.

In addition to her plateaued interest in the Claimant War, Ruka enjoys cooking, reading, romantic movies, sewing, badminton club, the pop group Shinmachou, and studying Southese.

Chou Momoe (晁 李恵) is not quite as excited. After all, she's an Eastern girl by heart and she regards land that far south as hick country. She sometimes gets crap from her schoolmates being the only half-Southlander around, but she found a set of more worldly friends including Ruka to hang out with. Ruka especially interests her as somebody who can actually talk about something other than TV shows, pop singers, and boys. Not that she minds talking about those things.

In addition to her natural half-interest in girly talk, Momoe enjoys gender studies, dramatic movies, drama club, studying Southese, and eating other peoples' cooking.

Their field trip will include a tour of Kinomiya, a historical play, a trip to Stone Pearl Monastery, and, of course, a visit to the gift shop.
