Physical Descriptions

Shitetsu Kaneru: I hadn't really thought too much about his appearance. Maybe a ponytail or shaggy haircut. Not sure if we'd want to go full chonmage. Other than that, he seems to me to be a pretty standard male protagonist. I'm not sure.

Matsuzono Buichi: Very tall, very lithe, very leggy. His muscles only have faint definition due to his female body. His facial features are androgynous - the pointed chin, long eyelashes, smooth cheeks, and small mouth of a woman hardened by thin lips, cold and thin eyes, and a stony countenance. His fingers are tapered and elegant, yet the joints of the knuckles are gnarled from use and the palms are calloused. His shoulders are relatively broad.

I am torn on how to handle his chest. Because he's so thin, it would be easy for him to have only a minimal bust that could be easily bound, but I kind of wanted part of his backstory to be that his developing breasts were actually cut off, leaving only a network of thick and aching scars. I don't know if that was possible before the advent of modern surgery, though. I was somewhat inspired by the legends of the Amazons having one breast cut off so that they could draw a bow more easily.

Hair is another point of contention. I'd initially wanted his hair to be long, shaggy, and matted to continue playing up androgyny, but somebody (Kumo?) said that it might be a good idea to have him with cropped hair in order to make him look more boyish, which I can certainly agree with. As for the color, I wanted something somewhere in the vicinity of red, purple, and brown to show his mixed heritage. Chocolate (around #320109) would probably be the brightest and Sepia Black (around #130103) would probably be a good dark color.

He wears heavy furs about his shoulders and waist to make himself look bigger, wearing the robe underneath with little care. He has no decoration on him and tries to make himself look as normal as possible.

Compared to the others, being in between Jouka and Eren and between man and woman should make him the most unique-looking, almost to the point of being off-putting.

Sakakibara Mitsube: Also tall, maybe not as tall as Buichi, but considerably broader and more muscular. Kind of wanted to make him look truly masculine rather than bishounen (with Buichi taking that role). Mitsurugi from Soulcalibur would be a good example, though you could probably do with about 80% less scruff.

I'm thinking he would have a broad, flat nose, bright and handsome eyes, solid facial construction, firm chin, and a frequent grin. He should have the darkest skin out of the interests.

He should have dark and slick hair tied in a ponytail. His robes are simple, though he enjoys a variety of colors and trims.

Utani Nobuhisa: He should be of average height and build, maybe a little taller than Shitetsu. Half of me wants to make him look kind of like Koei's interpretation of Oda Nobunaga, what with the widow's peak, the dark eyes, and the immaculate goatee/pointed beard, but the better half of me wants to make him look a little more traditional. Goatee might work, but he should definitely have a chonmage, perhaps graying in parts. He should have sharp, narrow eyes, sharp facial features, a calculating look, pursed lips, and an average build.

His robes should be plain, in solid and neutral colors. I like the idea of him often wearing one of those broad-shouldered vests.

Ginga Jiemon: Shorter than Shitetsu, but only by a smidge. Teenage boy who vacillates between 'angry', 'haughty', and eventually 'uncertain and scared'. For some reason I keep imagining him looking like Koei's version of Date, but you probably shouldn't listen to that part of me.

He might have a chonmage, though I know that we don't associate that with youth. Just kind of wanted to draw a contradiction between where he is, where he's expected to be, and where he wants to be. I could also see a slightly feathery cut or something similarly simple. His hair should be black or a very dark brown.

He should have boyish features - round eyes, a pointed chin, a light facial construction, and short eyelashes, though he should also look a little weary. He should also be pale and thin, almost to the point of being sickly, the lightness of his frame being evident in his baggy, almost-empty robes. His robes should be somewhat ornate, splashes of white on green, silver on blue, the minor color in images of plants and abstract lines.

Kemawari: Gender-bent chamberlain from Ouoku? :V

Sugimura Rashou: Flashy. Copper chains in his bandanna, copper chains on his wrists, dresses like he's on a boat because he's an asshole like that. Pants and boots and maybe only half his jacket on. He needs like a gold dragon somewhere. The player needs to be glad that he dies in a stupid duel.
